* It's NOT a "Selfie."

* It's not what other people think of you.

* It's NOT WHO YOU THINK you are.

* It's not what other people told you to be!

Be "YOU!"

Who Discourages You?

1. The Biggest Person to Discourage? It's You. Listen to yourself. Go It Alone.

That's the only way that you can do things in this life. Keep working! Keep on going!

Spend time alone and do not, do not do not quite! If you fail at something, that does not make you "FAILURE!" Seriously!

Jesus walked on the water, in the storm. Peter took eyes off of Jesus and StartEd feeling to do what? .... He StartEd around sink in the water. WHY? Jesus was not sinking! Peter took off feeling eyes of Jesus and that was the mistake ...

.... He was distracted by the distraction of the Storm.

Listen! There is alway going to be one distraction after another.

..and another.
........... And another.

"I can do anything, through Christ who makes me strong!"

Amen!

MY BIOGRAPHY

Now at twenty-nine years of age, my reflections of childhood were wrought with very few really pleasant memories, but I am the son of Peter Shija Mom and Rebecca Mnguekwagh. I identified with my mother very dearly. Growing up with her was a life filled with turbulent times, both the laughter and the tears. I learned that sometimes you just have to stay in the rain because it can't just give way for you to accomplish the needed work for the day. Mum was an amazon, persevering in all situations to put food on the table. She directed the younger ones who were yet to come to know that what life entails was such a herculean task.

All these experiences gave me the will to put pen to paper to express how I feel about everything. I write mostly when am moody. I also love listening to the radio and reading historical prose when I am a bit relieved from the loads of work that medical school portends. I hope to retain my artistic side through all of this mire.

CHAPTER ONE:

They had to put me on an IV PICC line that reached from my arm to my heart. I lived on it 24/7 for almost 4 years. My quality of life was dented. Everything from taking a shower to getting dressed took on new meaning. In my severe depression and self-pity, my shock of this new body and the grandiosity of it all, God blessed me with an unusual gift.

I know what I am talking about, because I felt Heaven. Listen to my IV pump: Humdrum, drip drop, to keep me alive. This sound never leaves me throughout this entire book, and if you get tired of it, you get to close the book! For years, I had to love the sound, as it was my literal lifeline.......
